Two Races To Be Held Annually at Wild Horse Motorsports Park
Lucas Oil is pleased and excited to announce the implementation of a five year agreement with the Gila River Indian Community to stage two drag boat races annually at the newly renamed Wild Horse Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona, formerly known as Firebird International Raceway.
Wheatland, Missouri - June 4th, 2013 - They are back! The Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series is back in Wheatland, Missouri, for the 2nd Annual John Haas Memorial Drag Boat Classic on Lake Lucas. The 3-day event kicks off on Friday with a Test & Tune on the Lake from 10AM-4PM. New this year is a Show & Shine on the Wheatland City Square from 6PM -8PM, Friday Night. The Show & Shine is FREE and will allow fans to get up close to the boats, take photos, get autographs and mingle with the pilots of the baddest boats on water! A concession will be available with proceeds benefiting the Wheatland Settlers. After the Show & Shine fans are invited back to Lucas Oil Speedway for a FREE concert, Friday Night. JR Woods will be live on stage at 8PM, also in concert will be Shotguns & Lace.
Jerry Hume, Reporter NEWS13: "Tens of thousands of people packed Cocoa Beach for the 4th Annual Space Coast Super Boat Grand Prix this weekend. More people meant more rescues for lifeguards... An estimated 60,000 people lined the beach for the boat races".
Commencing their 2013 season, the 77 LUCAS OIL team will be testing the SilverHook 48GP at their race shop near Lake Monroe, FL before heading to Biloxi, Mississippi where they are competing in the 9th Annual "Smokin' the Sound" Super Boat Grand Prix April 26-28. As a warm up to Sunday's race, the team is looking forward to participating in the "Smokin' the Sound" Poker Run on Saturday, April 27.
As you all know, Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series, along with other associations, now require you to update your capsules orientation every four years. This is a must requirement, there are no exceptions. To help meet this requirement, arrangements have been made with Aquatic Dreams Scuba Center in Modesto, CA on Sunday April 28th starting at 9:30am sharp until completed, 1212 Kansas Ave. Modesto, CA.
Race Fuel to be available on site at all LODBRS National events
The Lucas Oil Drag Boat Racing Series is pleased to announce that Phoenix Race Fuels will continue to be the official LODBRS fuel supplier for the 2013 racing season. Beginning with the LODBRS season opener at Irvine Lake, California Phoenix Race Fuels will be on site at all of the National race events to supply race gas and methanol.
